The Patient Simulator IS HERE!

Updated: Feb 23, 2021

WORTH THE WAIT

It's been a while, I know. If you are reading this I thank you, for staying with me. Well, you know what they say....good things come to those who wait! This time, really awesome, LIFE SAVING things have come to those who waited! That's right...WE DID IT! With your help, the Frankfort Fire Protection District was able to purchase the advanced life-like patient simulator Kristen's Heart Beats set out to fund over a year ago. I had the incredible opportunity to meet with some of my heroes and witness a simulated cardiac arrest just like mine. I truly am amazed to be alive. (slideshow and video below)

SAVING LIVES

I watched the trainees give multiple rounds of CPR to a "patient in v-fib"...shocking with the AED...still in v-fib, pushing the meds...still in v-fib, learning and working as a team with their leaders until that patient had a pulse. It was my story... unfolding before me...in a way I never understood. I was a firsthand witness to the event that changed my life - and my life's purpose... forever. I left more inspired than ever, and I didn't think was possible. We are SAVING LIVES!

DONATIONS NEEDED

Thank You to all who've donated and supported this process!!! Kristen's Heart Beats, like many non-profit organizations - has been placed on hold due to the pandemic. However, CARDIAC ARREST is not on hold, it is still happening all around us. With 70% of cardiac arrests happening in the home, it is CRUCIAL that WE ALL know and practice hands only CPR. Kristen's Heart Beats is asking for your support to fund the purchase of these CPR manikins and AED trainers to be used for private and community trainings.

Please,if you are willing, Make a tax deductible donation here.

Thank you, and don't forget to contact us for a safe training for your family, organization, or place of business!
